Nasa Bldg. 218 Generator
Removal Project
The removal of 2 large generators
had to be done mostly by hand. We had the use of the existing
overhead crane to pick and move the larger pieces of the
generators. Each generator was 25 feet in length and over
10 feet high. They were supported on 14” thick x
36” high concrete wall, below the generators was
an open pit to allow for all of the cabling to feed and
attach to the generators. Almost all of the metal was
recycled. |
